Introducing our new Fair Isle-inspired bonnet, a nostalgic design inspired by the timeless beauty of Shetland's knitting traditions. Knitted from 100% cashmere in the Scottish Borders, it features a charming all-over pattern and soft knitted ties designed to fasten gently beneath the chin. With its traditional silhouette and heirloom quality, it is a piece designed to be treasured throughout the early years and lovingly passed on.
Our bonnets are available in three sizes: 0–6 months, 6–18 months and 18 months–3 years.
One of the lovely qualities of cashmere is that it naturally softens and relaxes with wear. If the bonnet feels a little snug at first, you'll often find it gently loosens over time, moulding to the wearer and creating a comfortable fit. It can be hand-washed and softly reshaped; simply lay flat to dry and it will return beautifully to form. Please refer to our wash care guidance page for full washing and care instructions.
For your little one's safety, we always recommend following safe sleep guidance. Our bonnets are not designed for babies to sleep in, and may we refer you to the Lullaby Trust for further advice.
