Our Fairisle Baby Cardigan features a playful multicoloured pattern, knitted in 100% 3-ply cashmere at a family-run mill in the Scottish Borders. Soft, warm and kind to delicate skin, it’s designed to keep little ones cosy throughout the cooler months. With a classic round neck, ribbed cuffs and pearlescent buttons, it’s a joyful blend of tradition and charm.

This style is available in one size, designed to fit babies aged 9–12 months. As with all our baby cardigans, the age range is intended as a guide—every baby is different. Many customers have found this cardigan offers a longer fit than expected, with room to grow and wear beyond the labelled age.

Absolutely gorgeous

I can't give this gorgeous little cardi more stars - it is made of beautiful thick cashmere and is so soft... The little sailing boat is such a lovely design and the colour is even nicer than in the photos. It is such a great feeling when you spend not an insignificant amount of money on a real 'treat' item (especially with cashmere) but find that you receive something of true value that exceeds all hopes. Beautiful and useful - lasted ages

Dress your baby in a cloud

This cardigan is so beautifully soft I feel like I’m dressing my baby in a cloud. It has been an invaluable layer this icy winter and worn nearly every day. I’ve hand washed it regularly (because babies!) and it still looks like new. It was an incredibly generous gift and something I will keep forever.
